I am writing to reccomend Elaine Marcucio with the highest praise for her work ethic, honesty, intiative and the love she showed my mother.

Prior to my mothers death at 92 in December, Elaine served as her aide, companion and friend. My brothers and I live at some distance and having a loving, intelligent advocate for our mother was a challenge- until Elaine arrived on the scene.

If Elaine said she would be there, she was there. Never was a Drs. appointment missed or scheduling messed up ( as it had been before)

Furtermore, despite her own families challenges, when my mother had several stays in the Yale New Haven Hospital towards the end of her life, who acted like the daughter my Mother never had and helped with hospital matters as well as just keeping her company? Elaine.

And who would go visit my Mother out of the goodness of her heart? Elaine.

To our family, Elaine is a Saint. She is also like a member of our family.

Upon my mothers death, the first thing my brothers and I did was to authorize a 4 figure gift for Elaine. That is how stongly we felt about the contribution she made to our mothers quality of life in her final years.Her reaction? I can't accept that,I only did my job plus I really loved your Mom.

This is in reference to Elaine Marcucio.  She has done so many wonderful things for us at our Lakeview apts.  She puts together our luncheons, our Christmas parties, nurses to take blood pressure once a month, nuns for Communion, she also has people come and do our nails.  She has really made our Community Room active.

Elaine’s ideas gave us something to work with for our Community Rooms.  She has made everyone come together and do things that we have never done.

She has always been there for us no matter what we decide to do.

In our own personal opinion, Elaine is our own personal [hire?].  If it wasn’t for her, none of this would be happening.  Elaine Cares, she puts her heart into everything she does.
